We have designed a vision-based, theologically-centered curriculum for our Teaching Groups this year. The curriculum is designed to deepen you so that we all might be better equipped and mobilized for mission through our fellowship groups in this city. Our groups will begin with a problem solving discussion, move to teaching, then discussion-based application.

Parish Meetings

On the last Sunday of each month, we will have parish meetings during this hour where we will apply the content we are learning to our fellowship group setting.

With your parish elder & deacon, fellowship group leaders, and others from your parish, you will have the opportunity to talk about the progress your fellowship groups are making as well as the challenges you are facing. We hope to help one another and learn from one another in these meetings.

  • Groups which are south of the river are encouraged to meet in the fellowship hall @ nsf south (Woodland).

  • Groups which are north of the river are encouraged to meet in two rooms at nsf north (Mississippi).

If it works for your family to regularly be at these respective teaching groups that would be great! If for some family reason you cannot (e.g. young children who do better going early than later), that's fine! The teaching content will be the same in all groups. However, we ask if once a month when we have these meetings you attend the group that aligns with your parish.

Why are we doing this?

The primary reason we shifted our whole Sunday morning schedule around is to better equip you in the least burdensome time frame for your schedule. For most people Sunday morning is easier than taking up an evening once a month. So please join us this Sunday in teaching groups that we believe will develop us to be more faithful to our vision.
